WSE was engaged by Seqwater to carry out detail design of its Lowood Raw Water Pump Station new Pump 4 mechanical, electrical and civil works.
The works included the mechanical, electrical, civil and structural detailed design development for the new 155kW, VSD controlled pump 4 inclusive of the following scope:
- Transient analysis and pump selection
- Pipework, valves and pump plinth
- Upgrade to mono rail and its supporting structure;
- Electrical and control system design
