WSE was engaged by Seqwater to carry out detail design of its Kirkleagh WTP and Raw Water Pump Station main switchboard and PLC / SCADA control systems detailed design.
The works included the detailed design development for the upgrade to the existing main switchboard inclusive of the following scope:
- Main Switchboard Replacement;
- A new PLC/SCADA based control system;
- Alum dosing system upgrade
- Sodium hypochlorite dosing upgrade
- Caustic dosing Upgrade
- Field equipment, instrumentation and control system design to facilitate automatic backwashing of the existing sand filter
- Commissioning and Handover
